Call me old fashioned, but I preferred it when they had the winner’s flags rather than TV screens..
Five different teams, five different noses..
You know it’ going to be a boring race when you ask your F1 friends “By how many seconds do you think ‘Seb’ will win?”
My father, girlfriend and I;
Are going to see the Formula 1 movie, RUSH, on the weekend. Not to get confused with the band. I am quite looking forward to seeing the legendary battle between two greats but I have one slight concern. Chris Hemsworth is playing James Hunt. Yes, the same Chris Hemsworth that played Thor in the self titled movie and Marvel’s Avengers. I’m not calling into question his acting skills in any way, but the fact that to many fans of his, he can only be Thor. Much to the dismay of many iconic roles throughout history, the role is often much more famous than the actor and often leaves the actor on the back foot as most people only associate them with their famous role. Of corse, there are exceptions, I agree, but I only hope that I don’t see him as Thor throughout the entire movie.
I’m at Silvertone for the F1!
Parking was far easier this year! Didn’t have to queue or anything.
#Silverstone tickets arrived! #F1 (at The Jenkins Residence)
CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS MOVIE!
There’s an 80% chance that the Safety Car will be deployed today.

Kimi Räikkönen:Just drive!
Natalie Pinkham:What do I do!? What do I do!?
My First Impressions of the McLaren Mercedes MP-28
First of, I’m in now way an F1 expert. I love the sport and often watch the first two practice sessions, qualifying and the race including the SkySports F1 HD’s F1 Sow (mouthful, right?) And there’s not much point in watching practice three when half hour or so later you have qualifying, but that doesn’t mean I know a lot and these are just my uneducated opinions.
So, my first impressions, same as last year? Minus a colour tweak and some minor aero difference you can’t see much changes; and I guess you can’t make too many changes as the FIA haven’t really changed a whole lot of rules for the 2013 season, 2014 is a different story..
I know there’s going to be a heap of changes “under the hood” and I know it’s lighter as per the FIA rules allowing it due to heavier wheels and the new engines for next year. We all know after a few races we start to see new aero packages and upgrades to the cars, but ‘til then, it looks pretty much the same as the car at the end of the 2012 season, lets’ just hope it’s more reliable!
